LIAC is based in the State Library of NSW in Sydney, with branches in
many public libraries across the state, including: Bega, Broken Hill,
Coffs Harbour, Gosford, Forster, Windsor, Liverpool, Dubbo, Moree, and
Albury.
Through the public library system, LIAC provides free access to legal
information. All public libraries have plain-language information about
family law, and the State Library branch has extensive family law resources.

Community Legal Centres are non-profit, non-government independent centres
that provide free legal advice, referrals, face-to-face advice, and some
legal representation in court.
Community Legal Centres often lobby to change the law to make it more
fair. There are almost 40 community Legal Centres in NSW. In addition
there are Tenants Advice and Advocacy Services throughout NSW.
