Community Legal Education
Through Community Legal Education (CLE), WLS NSW helps to inform women about
the legal system and their legal rights. CLE also aims to educate the
community and legal profession in the resolution of legal issues affecting
women.
Community Legal Education sessions are conducted across NSW in
metropolitan and rural areas. Audiences include women's groups and service
providers. Session topics range from domestic violence and family law
to wills and estates, victim's compensation, child protection and elder
women and the law.
As part of it’s community legal education work,
WLS provides plain English guides to the law. See our Publications page.
